Privacy, simply.

DeathcareSignals stores your account email, a salted password hash, hashed recovery code, and hashed session tokens, your company and market preferences, any phone number you choose to provide, and your actions and usefulness feedback on signals. Passwords and recovery codes are not stored in plain text. ChatGPT sign-in is used only for operator administration.

What the data is for

These records support your supplier profile, matching facility signals, and delivering requested updates when a messaging provider is connected. Source monitoring concerns public business information; this service does not create family contact lists.

Your controls

You can opt into email updates, confirm your address, unsubscribe without signing in, change preferences and pause alerts in the customer portal. You can also delete your account and its profile, saved activity and feedback from Account security. The operator can view customer profiles to administer the pilot. Customer profiles are not publicly displayed.

Account recovery

Customer accounts use email and password. A private recovery code is shown once at registration. Recovery requires that code, replaces it, and revokes existing sessions. Email ownership confirmation is available once the sending provider is connected. Password recovery continues to use your private recovery code; email password-reset delivery is not enabled.

Billing

When payments are enabled, Lemon Squeezy processes checkout and subscription payments. We store subscription identifiers, status, renewal dates and event identifiers; we do not store card numbers. Cancel an ongoing subscription through Manage billing before deleting your account. A pending subscription during the pilot is not an invoice or an outstanding debt.

Messaging

Email or SMS delivery uses external providers when configured. Email delivery stores queued message content, recipient addresses, attempt history and provider delivery identifiers. Signed bounce and complaint events stop future delivery. Resend processes outgoing emails when configured. No paid messaging provider is connected by default. Do not enter patient records or sensitive family information.

This is an initial pilot. A full operator privacy policy should be finalized before broader launch.
